The one in Chicago, possibly could have been prevented. Two ways, one by putting him in the database, that somebody didn't bother doing. Or his father not sponsoring him to buy a gun.

Why would his dad sponsor him to buy a gun, when he threatened to kill everybody once? Doesn't sound like a very smart fellow.

I'll be sure to not go to any parades. And tell everybody I know not to as well. They probably won't listen though.

If he couldn't have bought the guns legally, he could have still bought them illegally.

Pretty sure mass shootings isn't what the founding fathers had in mind, with the right to bear arms. If they knew Americans couldn't handle owning a gun, to look at, they probably wouldn't have put that in there. And why not just go browse gun photos online? That's cheaper.

Good idea, outlaw ammo. So you can buy a gun, but no ammo. At least legally. Does the right to bear arms give you the right to ammo? According to the new Supreme Court, yes. You don't have the right to shoot somebody though, so outlaw ammo.

Outlawing ammo wouldn't solve much. Then people would make their own ammo. And the black market would sell lots of ammo, possibly made by themselves.

How do guns and pro life go together? Shouldn't they be outlawing guns and police shootings? And the death penalty? And giving the police a bible, that will be their new law. But they got to keep the death penalty, so they can get rid of the sinners, by committing murder and a sin.
