There might be a Google Drive client for Linux
Well, not official. But I think multiple clients can upload to it, like restic.
Is 200 GB enough? That's cheaper then Amazon, and I don't have to keep giving Amazon money, for something they are discontinuing, so they don't want my money anyways.
Not restic, but rclone does.
I might just pay $10 per month for 2 TB. Probably not till next month sometime, if I sign up for it. I might decide to keep Amazon until next year. A day before it's gone.
There's one paid client, that also supports OneDrive. But no 1 TB OneDrive storage only plan, I don't want their shitty office crap. Might be the same price as Amazon Drive though. Not sure there's a lot of Linux clients that support OneDrive though, so if the paid software doesn't work, you might be screwed.
How can pCloud offer lifetime storage plans? They do have a Linux client. If you want encryption, you have to pay extra.
And why was the fan making a noise and then stopped on the food dehydrator? Hopefully the fan didn't die. Better check on it. It'll overheat and shutdown if the fan isn't working anymore. You have to contact them if that happens, I don't think it'll turn back on. Hmm the noise comes and goes. Might not be the fan, don't know what it is. Maybe metal? Or maybe the fan turns on and off. Yet, there's a constant noise, that might be the fan, it isn't very loud. The other random noise is louder. The manual doesn't say nothing about any noises in the troubleshooting.
Does the heating element make noise?
pCloud doesn't say the monthly prices. I don't want an auto renew of $50 a year. You only get 500 GB of share bandwidth, the same amount of space, kind of lame. Not sure Google has a limit. Since I barely share anything, I probably don't need 500 GB of share bandwidth. I might only need 1 GB of share bandwidth.
Oh and maybe the noise is the trays. Or one of the trays. I left the empty trays in it. Nowhere to put em, so left em.
No monthly option on pCloud. That means for the cheapest yearly plan, you need $50 available when they renew it. That's around $4 a month. I'd rather pay $5 a month, then all at once. They do have an official Linux client though, non like Google, Chrome is available for Linux, but no official Google Drive client. I don't believe in lifetime storage deals, so I won't be paying for that.
And how am I going to remember "pCloud"? Where are my files backed up to? penisCloud. Well, I only backup my pictures mostly. I don't trust online backup for everything. Also, I'd need a lot of space.
