If you have their low income internet, use the chat in the morning, when they are on the chat. I tried in the afternoon yesterday, but said to call, or come back in the morning.

No "professional" installation needed either. They'll ship the gateway to you. Only downside is, I have to return the busted one. Hopefully nobody asks what's wrong with it, I don't recall. I've been using my own modem, the old one stopped working months ago.

I don't want to pay Comcast a penny for Internet. So I'll just get a new gateway, and hope it has bridge mode, if not double NAT it is.

Should have just went to the Comcast place and got a new gateway there. Except if they had none, I'd still have to wait. Not sure how you get a return label. So I'll probably drop it off at the place. Hopefully there's a box to put it in, don't want to wait in line.
