They might be coming to this shithole city. See here.

I’ll be on prepaid internet, therefore, I’ll be free to switch, and no need to call Comcast to cancel.

Their site doesn’t say how much it costs. But the slowest is 50 Mbps down and up. That smokes Comcast’s upload. I need a Wisconsin zip code. Their site doesn’t list their address. I was going to use their zip code.

Some of my recorded music sounds like ass. Oh, it’s the volume on my desktop, it was cranked up past 100.

According to Wikipedia, they are in Madison, Wisconsin. Damn it, I need more then a zip code.

I found a Walmart address, said it wasn’t right, and selected the first one. It’s $48 for two years for 300 Mbps, you have to rent their shitty modem for $8 a month. They don’t have a 50 Mbps plan with that address, 300 is the slowest. You can use your own modem, but you have to have it available when they install the internet. Then they claim to remove the rental modem fee. Comcast won’t, I was forced to pay for a modem I didn’t have. I used my own the entire time I’ve had it.

I have relatives in Wisconsin. If there’s no data limit, then I might get it, if it gets approved, and they offer internet, not just TV.

The funny thing is, Comcast will be forced to lower their prices. Will they lower their prepaid internet price? Or increase the upload speed?

The regular price without the modem is about $56 a month. Comcast charges $52 or so for 15 Mbps.

My apartment building probably won’t let me get it, because they won’t let them install fiber here. They won’t let you get Dish, so probably not some other cable company either. I’ll be laughing my ass off, if they offer internet here, and have more then 5-6 Mbps upload speed. Comcast might have to spend money at upgrading their shitty network. Or pull out of the market.

I’ll just move, if I can’t get it. And I want it bad enough.
