No new UPS needed
A PDU should do the trick. But how do I get my Mac mini to turn off immediately on battery power? The USB is plugged into my desktop, it doesn’t shut off right away, but when it does, it turns the UPS off.
Nice, my brand has one for almost $60. That’s cheaper then another UPS.
Does the amps on the PDU have to match the UPS? Don’t know what the A is on my UPS, Amazon doesn’t seem to say.
Wait a second, do you plug that into the wall, and plug the UPS and stuff into the PDU? Nice way to do it, but I’d need more then 12 outlets probably. Not the ones I’m looking at.
CyberPower has a cheaper one. I only need like one outlet though. To plug the mini into it.
Are you supposed to plug everything into the PDU? Cause, 12 outlets might not enough. And I think I have stuff in the surge only outlets, don’t need battery backup for that stuff.
