Low FPS is common in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
Looks like I’m not the only one seeing low FPS when going to new areas. I think I mostly got used to it, but when I first started playing, it was brutal.
Just search Google. No update to fix it yet either. Not that I care. It’s cheaper than PS4 games.
I won’t overclock it. I might consider running at a lower resolution. Can I do that without any homebrew app? Like going into settings and changing the resolution?
There is a Zelda update, don’t know if it fixes it. On the site, there’s an update thread. It’s included with my monthly internet bill, $40 a month. That’s why Comcast charges so much for shitty internet, they have to pay Nintendo and others.
Damn, can’t download the update. Too many people have tried downloading it. Probably fake, the other site, I got the Zelda demo from, doesn’t have the update.
Lots of popups. Why isn’t my Pi Hole blocking all those popups? If it pops up, it should be a 403 error.
My internet must be going up in December. I already got my November bill, and it’s still $40.
They have the update, and different links, you need to go to the update page.
Why is the update only around 30 MB? It’s not a fake file, just ran check_nsp.sh on it.
What’s a good USB network installer that doesn’t need Java? Eh, probably isn’t one. Damn it. Guess I’ll be installing Java on my Mac mini, didn’t want to. But too lazy to use my desktop.
“brew cask install java”, if you don’t want to use the built in Java installer. I don’t. If you don’t want to bypass macOS’s security, just use the built in Java installer. It’ll say it can’t verify the developer, it’s OpenJDK. I’ll take OpenJDK over the other one any day. And, it doesn’t work. Damn it. Well, uninstall OpenJDK, and use the shitty official one.
Nope, can’t be checked for malware by Apple, so it won’t open. Needs to be updated. Who knew Java was such a pain in the ass on a Mac. Well, thanks Apple, that saves me from Java malware. I’ll just use my desktop.
Reinstalling OpenJDK, going to try the other installer. The one that’s supposed to work with OpenJDK. Maybe it’ll freeze my Mac mini. It opens.
It worked. Don’t try browsing for the file, it only shows the home folder, just drop it into ns-usbloader, and then click upload, then go to Virtual in Goldleaf, it’ll show the files you sent by ns-usbloader.
It is the first time, I’ve seen a first party Nintendo game not run flawless. Usually their games look good, and run good. Guess, I should see if the update fixed it.
Not completely fixed. Maybe slightly better.
Also, didn’t know it’s a remake of an old game. I used to collect old games, I got a bunch. Don’t really play them, I get bored instantly. If they remade all of them, I’d play them. Then again, I might of played this a long time ago. Was it for any of the gameboys? It was too hard when I played it most likely.
For the Gameboy Color, I probably played it then.
It’s worthy of buying twice. Keep it in the box, in mint condition, in the future, sell it for $400. I’m lazy though, so I’ll enjoy looking at it instead.
I need the Gameboy Color one, and a Gameboy Color. Can you play Gameboy Color games on a hacked N3DS? Probably, that works too. You just need the ROM, the cartridge probably won’t work. Don’t think it would fit in the slot.
