OpenGL won’t be supported forever.

They claim the Vulkan backend will be working by MoltenVK. Not sure though, Proton doesn’t even advertise it will ever work with macOS. That’s based on Wine too.

I’d pay for Crossover, you support Wine by doing so. I upgraded to the no 32bit macOS, so I’ll be waiting for the next Crossover version. You’ll be able to run Wine for free on the latest macOS, but you might be waiting even longer.

Curious how well or shitty Windows games run on my mini with a eGPU.

I won’t buy VM software, not ever buying another Windows license, Windows 10 is the last Windows I’ll own. Also, not enough RAM, only 8 GB, you need 16 GB at least. I’m not opening the mini anytime soon to upgrade it.

The real reason, Apple is a dick, they soldered the SSD to my Mac mini’s logic board. They don’t last forever, so I’ll be stuck with a external drive, if I don’t retire it before it dies, I probably will.
