Ruby didn’t want to come inside, I was out there for 30 minutes or more. I had to drag her in, she went pee on the carpet when we got in. No wonder she was resisting so hard to come inside. She’s potty trained, but doesn’t want to go on a leash.

She just texted me, that she’s getting a longer leash.

I was smart and took some of her paper towels, and we got stuff to spray on pee.

She can’t be off leash, she might run away.

I didn’t get mad, I did say she isn’t supposed to do that. It’s my fault, for not staying outside for another 30 minutes.

Maybe I should put a potty pad where she peed. Just move the one by the door.

She’s in her kennel again. She’ll learn quickly, I’m not getting mad at her for peeing and/or pooping inside. She’s been through a lot, so it’s not her fault. Stressed dogs can have issues. The type of dog I want, you aren’t going to find a fully trained one like Tonka. I changed my thinking after they found Ruby. She’s still a puppy, and she needs training. Any dog you adopt, will probably have some issue.

I don’t think anybody breeds Border Collie mixes, or I don’t know anybody that does. You don’t get rid of a dog for peeing inside. You instead figure out how to get them to go potty on a leash.

You know she’s smart, she is always trying to get out of her harness. When she’s resisting. She’s getting a smaller harness as well.

I paid $202 for dog stuff yesterday. I’ll see if she wants me to buy another kennel for her house, so she can go in there, and nobody will mess with her. I thought I was going to spend $400. My mom bought some stuff.

I fed her earlier, but she hasn’t touched her food yet.

Did she have accidents at her previous house? And they got super mad at her? Nobody is going to get mad at her here. I’ll tell my mom later, she didn’t touch her food today. I mixed in wet food with it. She also won’t take the treats I bought her. Should have got the ones my mom has.

Almost 5,000 steps so far today. I think they say you need 10,000 a day, halfway there. I had my phone, but my watch wasn’t on my wrist. So no heart rate data from walking her.

Might need to shit again, not much came out earlier. Damn walking might have got my bowels moving.
