Steam Remote Play audio works if you use the non native Steam?
Non native uses the libraries provided by Valve, the native uses your system’s.
Last time I tried, that wasn’t the case, I don’t have steam-native installed in Manjaro, so I’ve been using Steam’s libraries the entire time.
Somebody claims that worked for them here.
I’m too lazy to try it again, as I’ve tried it more then once, and the audio crapped out each time. I’ve been waiting for a Steam update that says it’s fixed. That may be never. I could try the native steam, maybe the opposite works in Manjaro.
I won’t be playing anything on Steam for a while, got two kernels to compile. Sucks, my laptop doesn’t have 12 threads.
Also, no point in trying the Remote Play with the powerline adapters, they suck ass. I may or may not try it once the ethernet cable and stuff comes.
The issue might be the powerline adapters for me.
Mounting NFS in macOS is a pain. There was a shitload of auto_nfs mounts, from running automount -cv. I closed the browser down, as I thought I was going to need to reboot to get rid of it. No, you just delete or comment out the last line in /etc/auto_master, and run automount -cv again, which unmounts it. To lazy to look in my history in the browser, I forgot what the last line looked like. You can’t use umount to unmount it.
